Two Buck Chuck

Less than 2 weeks ago Trader Joe's finally opened a store in Portland, Maine.  I love, love, love TJ's and so I, of course, was there opening day.  We parked 2 blocks away and Camden and I walked to the crazed and crowded store.  It was like heaven walking through the doors, if only to purchase the coffee, my favorite TJ Bay Blend.  Now, I had to try to control myself.  Not because I wanted to buy everything in sight, but because I could only carry so much back to the car.

First stop - straight to the coffe ailse, 2 large cans into the cart.  Next stop would of course be the wine section.  I bought 4 bottles of 2 Buck Chuck (actually $2.59), one bottle of Blue Fin ($3.99) and another random choice ($4.49 - I splurged).  "must get back to the car, do not fill cart"  repeated in my head.  I grabbed the 6-pack wine carrier shopping bag and headed to check out.  The cash register lines scattered up each shopping aisle.  My choice, of course was to get in line down the snack food aisle.

As my son Camden and I waited patiently in line for 45 minutes, eating organic gummy bears and yogurt covered pretzles, I secretly could not wait to open the wine.  What did the cork look like?  Was it real or synthetic? Did it have anything printed on it?

Every bottle of wine I purchased had real corks with brands printed on them - SCORE!  I know I have a serious cork issue.  The wine wasn't bad either.
